The construction of this page starts in the memory of one of the founder members of the DTF, Ved Gupta, who passed away on 13 December 1996.
Ved Gupta (1941-1996) spent three decades in the teaching profession of which he taught for around 25 years in the Department of Political Science, Zakir Husain College. He was a long-standing and committed activist of the democratic movement in the Delhi University and outside. His selfless dedication to social change, his role in the struggle against the Emergency and then against communalism attracted many young people to the democratic movement.
