UGC inviting suggestions/comments for revising the Guidelines for grant of study leave:

NOTIFICATION

The UGC has initiated the process of revising the Guidelines for grant of study leave for university and college teachers and for determination of admissibility of pay and allowances (copy attached).

In this regard, a Committee has been constituted by the UGC under the Chairmanship of Prof. M.M. Ansari, Member, University Grants Commission. The Committee proposes a three-fold increase in the slab of existing ceiling of financial assistance. In order to fine-tune the guidelines and to make it scholar friendly, the Committee invites suggestions/ comments from all the stakeholders, mainly scholars working in universities/ colleges.

The comments on the existing guidelines of August 1991 (copy attached) may be submitted, latest by February, 28, 2013 to the Under Secretary (Pay Scale), University Grants Commission, New Delhi at parliament.ugc@gmail.com
