The DTF shall continue to work with commitment and determination to justify your confidence. It is our collective task to effectively challenge the anti-student, anti-teacher “reforms” through joint struggles of students, teachers and karamcharis.

It is the need of the hour to beat back the autocratic and arbitrary governance structure imposed by the University administration which is afraid of meeting arguments in an open and civilised debate. The DTF reiterates its commitment to the fight for restoration of the due processes and healthy democratic practices of consultation and debate in academic decision making. It is committed to fight back any move to cut costs through contractualisation and denial of promotion as part of promoting edu-business.

The DTF calls upon one and all to join hands in pursuing these tasks before it is too late. Issues such as contractualisation, (un)academic course design, better service and working conditions affect the quality of education. Hence students, parents and people at large must be approached.
