Save DU! Save Higher Education!
“The VC has called a meeting of the AC at 9am on 24th December to push through the four year undergraduate degree proposal of his hand-picked task force by amending the Ordinances. This surreptitious exercise is sought to be carried out with great haste on a restricted holiday on the occasion of Christmas eve, during the University vacations, for obvious reasons. Long-established statutory, academic and democratic processes of scrutiny through deliberation and discussion in the academic community, Departments, Faculties and College Staff Councils have been thrown to the winds. All concerned students and teachers are requested to gather at the VC’s Office at 8.30 am on 24th December to express our protest. Please circulate the information widely.”
