I would like to know if the study leave granted to permanent teachers in the colleges has been clubbed with the Child care leave (10% of the total strength) by the university administration, meaning thereby that now teachers seeking Study Leave have to wait for long ques of child care leave to avail study leave. In the absence of any clear-cut guidelines College administration get advantage of interpreting this rule in their own suitable way. This needs to be clarified and corrective measures should be taken to promote academic environment in the colleges.
